Default LSX in '75-79 X-Body Nova/Skylark/Omega/Phoenix

Anyone have any info on swapping a LSX into a '75-'79 X-Body?

Not sure if it would be closer to a 69-74 Nova or a 70-81 Camaro/Firbird

Chassis shares some parts in common with 70-81 Camaro/Firebird

Thanks

I believe the sub frame and suspension is identicle to those of 2nd gen's, so headers, and motor mounts should work thatd be used for a 2nd gen swap.

Mines a 72, I had to move the tranny forward about 1.5 inches so the heads cleared the firewall.
Thus needing a longer driveshaft. Other than that I made my own mounts, headers, and modified the oil pan myself. Pics in signature.

no one has any updates on such a conversion? I found this site. Hope it helps:

Seems floor pans ('73-up) and rocker panels ('68-up)are the same, so I'm guessing most other subframe components should be the same.
