I haven't said much.. as you were asking for input from the 64-67 guys. but I have been watching this thread from time to time..
just wanted to put my 2 cents in.. i am using the CTS-V pan in my 71 and it did give me the room around the x-member. With the F-Body Pan.. it fit.. but was very close and I didn't feel good about it being that close.. but with the CTS-V pan.. it is shorter from front to rear in the lower slump and about 1 1/4" lower than a f-body. On my swap.. the pan is about 1" lower than the x-member.. as long as you are not going to lower the car too much.. it should be ok.
This is what it lookw like:

Hope it help on the Pan.. good luck.

Those are the truck 5.3 manifolds with all the mounting bosses for the heat shields cut off.
The passenger side worked ok, but I had to relocate the exhaust pipe flange on the driver side.Welding cast is tricky, hope it holds.
Thanks
Malcolm

thanks 67 mal, it is an afco radiator and fan direct fit. I wish they would have had the top neck on the opposite side. The condensor came from Vintage Air. I got a universal box with a direct fit condensor kit.
