Help with conversion I have a 68 Nova putting a 6.0 with a 4l80E in it. Problem is, i have a 2003 motor and trans with a 2002 computer. 03 harness won't plug into the 02 computer. I do not want the DBW throttle body I want the cable one. So I don't mind eliminating that. question is, do i have to buy a whole new harness and will a 99-02 harness work on the 03 motor and tranny? I am willing to trade or sell the throttle body and manifold if that'll help. I know there was a sponsor on here you could send your harness to, just can't remember which one. Any advice and guidance would be greatly appreciated, haven't driven this car in 6 years and I'm dying to hear her go. Thank you. P.S. don't know if i can do this here, but I sell Safes if anybody needs one.
While I can't help you with the 2003 PCM interchangeabiltiy, I can confirm that you can use a 2002 harness and computer on a 2003 engine with no problems. That's the same combo I'm using on my swap.
