I talked to Schrams before, there proud of the stuff thats for sure so I've never gotten chassis from them. Contemporary Corvette in PA (seen on Ebay as Fparts) is where I get most of my ls stuff. There prices are more reasonable and their dropouts are the cleanest I have ever gotten. They don't cut wiring harness, of clutch lines and you can normally get the exhaust, master cylinder, clutch, rims and tires for a little more and ship it as a rolling chassis easily saving you the cost of truck freight.

Argon, i saw that its a killer and i would love to go around a track in it with you.
I just talked to a guy today who wants to buy my molds because it looks like my chassis business is going to keep me busy and the fiberglass body biz is hard for me to compete in.
But part of the trade is that i get a body from his race fab guy.
75 LB Carbon fiber and composite that will make this car a 1500lb cobra with LS Power and Corvette drive line.
I can't wait to go the the cobra clubs track day in it. And if this one happens its MINE; ALL MINE. but I'll go through and do all the little thing to make it a killer, all neoprene bushing, and relocating the front upper arms. I'm looking at building a aluminum frame for it to cut more weight and go LS427 with the kinsler intake (I did get this idea from Argon) to confuse cobra the guys, then I'll go head to head with you Argon after i get the wings worked out

Argon, one other suggestion that will help your car from pulling out the right when you spin the tires (it dose doesn't it) Replace the limited slip with a locker or a ratchet lock and look at a C6 dif with a dif Cooler that should give you better traction under acceleration. All the vettes I've been in a flat parking lot if they drop the hammer at 3500+ with the tries pointed strait and a person of equivalent weight in the passengers seat the first 1/2 rotation of the pinion gear will not grab the drier side tire and the car pulls out to the right. I've been in 1 vette that a guy got a BUILT Rear end (like 3k worth) and it makes a big difference.
