Should I get a K member setup for the older style 5.0 mounts or the standard 4.6?

 

AJE andrew jones engineering makes a nice tubular setup for Chevy small block you just need adapter plates.

 

I used a 4.6 k-member, and had no problems.

Here is the plan:
2000 Mustang V6 5 speed
Iron LSx 402"
PRC S3 LQ9 heads && Carb style intake
ARP studs top and bottom
Splayed main caps and coatings top to bottom
Precision 96mm turbo with air to water IC
We'll make the headers here
Standalone ECU
Wolfe Racecraft 10 point cage, chute, window net, sub frame connectors, upper and lower control arms
Weld Aluma Stars
MT Slicks and skinnies
sheetmetal rear wing
VFN 5" cowl hood

That will get us started...
