89-94 Nissan s13 coupe with JDM front end conversion. btw what gearing are you using? stock 240sx's run a 4.10 gear so 27 mpg is pretty good lol.

yeah it's the stock 4.08 open diff gear that hurts me the most. i'm sure i could get 30 or better if i can find a good 3.70 or 3.54 out of a 300zx.

what's your cruising rpm on the vette 2muchrice?

how is the suspension setup in terms of alignment (compared to a normal car)

pretty much what brad said, except mine is a little softer with 9k/7k springs. as for alignment, i run about 2.5* front camber, 0.5* rear camber. front toe is almost 0, caster is set i believe to 7* for quicker countersteer. rear also set to almost negligible toe-in to keep the rear tires wearing pretty flat.

rear end is a stock open unit with welded spider gears. i'm tired of the welded though, it's very annoying whenever i want to drive the car on the street and welded diffs also tend to be a ticking time bomb. i'll replace it when money permits with a clutch type, most likely KAAZ.

I believe the only R200 that came with 3.54 gears was out of the earlier year Q45s and the only 300ZX gears available were 4.08 since the TT version came with an R230, making the 3.69 in it unusable for an S chassis car.

J30s came with a ~3.91. Newer year Q45s have the 3.69 and Nissan Motorsports stopped selling it....S15 helical diff may also have that ratio. If you have some better info, let me know.

KAAZ is the way to go with clutch type diffs. The only other brand I would consider would be Cusco if I ever upgrade my rear.
