Is there a thread for a v6 to v8 conversion?

Searched but couldnt find one, Im interested in information in swapping out a 3.8L for maybe an lt1, Ls1, Ls2, or an Ls7, a link to the thread if there is one would be great.

It would be cheaper and easier to sell the 6 and buy a V8.

not up hear in Canada, in Canada or at least around Z28's,Formulas, and Trans-ams will usually run you around 14,000, and I can get a very nice Firebird V6 for about 6000. So thats about a 12,000 difference and Im pretty sure it wont cost that much to convert it.

What will need to be changed?

Motor, wiring harness, trans (I'm pretty sure the V6 has a different trans)? Are the rears the same?
