Need some advice/second opinion I bought this '91 LX 5.0 from a friend of mine who is currently serving some time in the Army in Iraq for a very good price for what it was. A few years ago, he got into an accident, in which the passenger side door was smashed in along with a portion of the 1/4. I need an opinion on whether this body is salvageable (can be fixed). Unfortunately, corral.net won't allow for me to post these pictures because I've only been a member for a year (they consider it as "spam" or supposed advertising). This is my LS1 swap project after I get through this year, financially.
Take it to a body shop and get a estimate.. then consider what the value of the car is (maybe use Kelly Blue Book kbb.com). Then consider the value of the car vs the cost to repair.
then it is up to you of you want to invest in fixing it.. but there are a lot of Fox bodys that are cheap enough to buy another for what you will have to put into fixing this one. (?)
