I used Autometer electric gauges, and both senders are 1/8-NPT.

For oil pressure, I drilled and tapped the cover near the oilfilter (see the sticky, https://ls1tech.com/forums/showpost....49&postcount=5).

For water temp, I pulled the plug out of the right head. You can buy an 1/8-NPT to M12x1.5 adapter (sticky again, https://ls1tech.com/forums/showpost....4&postcount=55). I had an 1/8-NPT female to 1/4-NPT male adapter that came with my oil pressure gauge and noticed that it was really close to M12x1.5 but slightly larger. I clamped it in a vise and ran an M12x1.5 die down it. I doped it up with ARP teflon thread sealant and it hasn't leaked yet.

Check the Sticky FAQ at the top of the forum. There is an adapter set available from Equus that will work for both the water temp and oil pressure. It's available on line and at many auto parts stores.

I went to O-Reilys about 3 weeks ago to order this kit. Went back a few days later only to find out it wasn't in yet. They say the part number has changed to 9848?? Still don't have one yet.

Try doing a search on Google. There are a number of places that sell the kit on line
