what are the dimensions of the ls1 engine? planing to do a swap in a car, I know that the car takes 302 and 351 ford engines does the ls1 has smaller dimensions.

 

This has been asked many times in this forum.. try a Search.. not sure what the Ford Engine Dimension are. What car are you going to swap into?

But from Flywheel to tip of Water pump = 28.75", Width from outer edgle of heads = 24.75".

 

it is the coupe cobra from factory five.

 

you will have no problems fitting an ls1 in there...

This is the truck engines, so the intake is higher and the oil pan is lower but it is the same size block.
