v8 swap guys...come one come all....i gots questions 5.3 out of a trucck...going into a jeep wrangler....
jeep is not fly by wire....truck was....has electronic t-body.
how can i defeat this? new throttle body of course plus tuning??
will that work or would i be better off with a throttle pedal assy from a gm?
if the pedal assy is needed, i dont have a harness with that plug...
i want this to be simple as a swap as can be had...

If you want to convert to drive by cable you will need to find a cable throttle body. Thats what i did(ebay). Speartech can convert your harness to work with a cable throttle body for about 50 more than a regular harness conversion. My harness is at Speartech now....will post when I get it back but I have never heard a single bad thing about there work. I also bought the TV made EZ kit from BowTieOverdrives to controll my 700r4 tranny but they dont have a TV bracket for the tall truck intake so im on my own to figure that part out.
