Where can I get a conversion done?
Where can I get a conversion done? Have a Fox Mustang Body (89) and will be be taking the engine out of my LS1 Z28 in a couple of months and thinking about doing this conversion into the Fox Body. Guys, let me know how hard this swap is, what is needed and around how much it will cost.
It is a common swap now a days.. it was even writen up in Popular Hot Rodding in the May issue.
Since you all ready have the engine and anything else.. It comes down to conversion parts (adapters/k-Member), driveshaft work and upgrades (fuel/cooling/elec,etc)..
I can see it costing much. With Headers.. maybe $2k.. if you do everything the right way with not cutting of cost.. but if you a good internet shopper.. you can cut that down a lot..
