LS1 harness differences question
LS1 harness differences question I'm currently installing an LS1 in a 94 Camaro. I got a engine from a 2002 firebird but it had an A4. I've since purchased a M6 for it but need a harness. A borad menber has offered to swap his 99 M6 harness and PCM for my 02 A4 harness and PCM.
Are there any differences between the 99 and 02 EFi system. I know I'll have to do a lot to put it in the 94 but I want to make sure the 99 harness will work on the 02 engine.

The major difference between the 99 & 02 is the 02 pcm has a better operating system,But you can do a full reflash on the 99 and make it the same OS,If you aren't going to do anything special with the car such as NOS or supercharge,then the 99 OS will work fine,If you need any help let me know i just finished my 94 swap to LS1.
This is just gonna be a mild head/cam car. I jusat want to make sure the 99 harness will work on the 02 engine.
Might be a dumb question, but this is all new to me as I was an LT1 guy till a month ago.
