You can also buy the crank spacer and longer bolts from GM. I forget what the PN`s are, but they are listed in a few threads, a quick search should bring them up.
you can also get a converter built that has the spacing to match the LS1 and fit in the LT1 transmission.

i am almost finishing my brothers 94z28 with a ls1...it is one bad ride. anyways the only prob i ran into so far was the crossmemeber for the trans i modified the one from the ls1 car and it all works out good now. i dont have much more left the car should be done this week. i expect it to make around 450 rwhp maybe a little more. i will get some pics up.

I am swapping the LS1 into my LT1 camaro here in the next few weeks. I like the LT1 but the LS1 is so much easier to work on and mod. Cam swaps are so easy on the ls1s and nowhere close to that easy on the lt1. I am going to do a write up on every step of my process with pictures and all. I will post it up as soon as the project is complete

And as far as building it.. build it big, get some good **** in it. I wish I built what I am building up now instead of building a LT1 again, but I got most of my Money back out of it.
Basically $3500 more and some time with the Car down gets me a new Built Engine/Tranny, and hopefully 600hp..
