ls1 swap 78 nova Im leaning more towards doin a ls1 swap into the nova,Just because it will get better gas milage then a carb,and IMO It would just be easier to tune/something different..But how hard would this swap be? I mean i know ill have to fab new motor mounts seeing how it would be taking a straight 6's place,and all the wiring how hard will that be..what all is gonna be involved i looked and seen where plenty of people have done these swaps but i was curious???Just all in all what do yall think.......

There is a User on the forum, (about 10 posts down) called 79Nova, looks like he is a few steps ahead of you. You should contact him. But if the Nova uses the same subframe as the 2nd gen camaro then engine mounts and such should be easy to find.

Yep, the LS1 should get better mileage than a carb motor. The wiring isn`t too bad, check out the FAQ sticky theres a few write-ups on what needs to be done to the wiring in there.
