Question '87 Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe lsx hybrid help....

Ok What all would be needed to put an ls1 or ls2 into the car? Would it have to be swapped from OBDI to OBDII? And would i need all the harnesses and computers from the donor car? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would start with the threads in the sticky section. You will need the computer and harness from the donor to modify, or you can spring for some new ones, but you need them either way. There are several guys that have done G-Body swaps.

John B. has a very complete write-up of his swap here http://www.ls7montess.com/ if you have not already read it that is the first place you should check out.
