Default GM engine weights(?)

hey guys. In a lot of hybrids engine weight is an issue(i'm guessing for other people. definitely for me). So is $$$ (for me, i'm guessing for other people too, again) LSx's pull a premium, so i was wondering if anyone knew weights of various other GM v8's. (l92, l98, lq4, lq9,etc...) I'm having a hard time finding them. I'm guessing the iron blocks are gonna all be pretty close. the only weight i found was a marine lq9's dry, shipped weight was 525 lbs. and the lq4 weight is only 65 pounds more than an LSx.

Default LS Engine weights

Hi Guys Engine swappers on another forum (bimmerforums.com) posted pics of an LS1&t56 bolted together and on two scales, one under the oil pan and one under the aft end of the T56. The engine was fully dressed with front end accessories, intake manifold and wire harness. Front scale showed @ 539lbs, aft @70lbs for a total of 609lbs. Quite interesting to see how little was on aft end. Check out vorshlag.com for the swapper guys.
