motorplate AND kmember? LSX fox. Ok guys, have a few questions. Can I use a motor plate AND a tubular K member? Where can I get a motorplate made and what do they cost? Also, will there be any clearance issues in the trans. tunnel with a 396 (3.905 X 4.125) LSX and TH350 setup? Finally, can I just use the factory rack and pinion? Thanks so much for any help you guys can offer. I have read what Ive found with the search button until my eyes are bleeding.

I just want a lightweight front end (reason for tubular K) with as much header clearance as possible. I assume a K member is mostly for front suspension support???

buy a tubular k member designed for a motor plate they make them with no motor mounts and then run a motorplate and modify the stock trans crossmember and youll be ready to rock

i have some templates that i used to get my plate made. depending where you position your motor but slight mods could be made to them. i could send them to you let you check them out and then modify them and send them back and i could make you up a set. or you could call stenod and get one for about the same price. either way you will spend alittle over 200
