Running Right Finally got my 96 S10 Blazer running right. Today got power to the trans, it finally shifts on its own and TC locks up. Plus, got my gas gauge and cruise control working. All guages now work. Haven't tried hooking up the MIL light yet. I was a grinning 45 year old kid when I smoked the tires for the first time leaving the gas station. It's a 96 4x4 4 dr with 2005 5.3, 4l60e from 2005 Suburban. Kept the fly by wire. So simple to get cruise control working. Used the under hood fuse center from a silverado pu. It doesn't look as clean as a Speartech or Current Performance job, but it was cheaper. The engine is stock for now. Used 98 Firebird manifolds slighly modified. Made y-pipe to 3 inch Flowmaster 50 series out with 3 inch tailpipe. Sounds real good. Next is to make a set of long tubes. I gutted the front drive stuff out. Its 2x now. The power is unbelievable compared to the 4.3 V-6. This site really got me started and motivated. Lots of great info and ideas. Thanks. Jim
