LS6 Ultima GTR hits the road
Got pulled over by the Cops for burning the tires, nearly impossible not to burn 'em. Didn't buy my story that because the car only weighs 2000 lbs I can't help it.
They let me go after checking registration and insurance though.
I've noticed my custom carbon fiber tub keeps the car cooler inside than the standard aluminum interior. The EFI LS6 seems to be mapped fine (ASA Computer and Harness). It revs so quick it's hard not to hit the rev limiter in 1st gear. Final stainless exhaust fab and AC charge being done this week.
Hope to do some drag strip and chassis dyno testing before Hot Rod Power Tour which starts May 30. Updated pics here: http://www.worksstand.com/jeffs
Wow! I bet that did scare the snot out of you. You are so low and light. Great looking vehicle. Lots of good ideas in there!
Something tells me you are going to be going through quite a few of them.
I think it was 1800lbs and it has our Street Eliminator 360 engine in it, roughly 400 RWHP, must be a blast!! Trending Topics

Need to dyno tune, and adjust coil overs to eliminate wheel hop. Then back to the track later this year before the snow flies. And maybe I'll try Nitto drag radials.
It's a street legal road race car sold in kit form to get around gov't red tape.
Gonna have it at the Car Craft Nats in St Paul MN, HIN Chicago and Bristol Bash in TN.
