remember guys im using the entire corvette drivetrain......all this car is, is a corvette chassis....with a civic body attached to it....pretty much......the best thing about the design of the corvette is nothing is mounted to the fiberglass of the car.....everything has its own framing......which made it rediculously easy to make everything fit......the steering column is one big piece mounted to aluminum frame.....with all the pedals, booster, master cylinders mounted to it.....the frame is attached to two long bars that stretch across the car.....u can weld the top bar in by the windshield....and the bottom one bolts to the tunnel....and the ends u weld on the sides of the pillar......very easy.......since im also using the stock tunnel from the vette......then all the dash componets bolt to those two bars....including the a/c and heating box....it so freaking easy to make this stuff work......
and since im using unaltered front suspension and corvette frame......im using the stock corvette steering rack......

Looks great, though I can imagine it would be a nightmare to work on. That is unless you have an elborate system so you can remove body panels in order to access various components of the engine.

Seems like a lot of work to make an econobox go fast. I only paid $3600 for my 98 Z28, and it looks a hell of a lot better than that. Should be fun for the sleeper factor though. I once had a Chevy Monza with a 400ci in it.

no offense....but i have no mullet.....ha ha ha...j/k....camaros just dont do anything for me.....i wont break $1000 building it.....until i start installing the goodies on the motor.....then it will pass that figure......but you have to remember.....everyones got a camaro, corvette, firebird or mustang.......as u can see i like it way different......
Just think when u are sitting at an intersection......u hear something......u look everywhere for that cammed corvette thats somewhere around you......u revv up hoping to narrow out where it is......the sound revvs back.....you just take off from the intersection.....and u get passed by that unsuspecting civic that was in your rearview mirror at the light......lol
