Default Convert LS1 A4 radiator transmission lines to -6 AN

I searched high and low to find the proper adapter to convert the stock LS1 radiator's transmission cooler fittings over to -6 AN. Didn't find anything anywhere, so I ended up making them Figured I'd post it here for the benefit of anyone else who looks for the info and can't find the adapter.

First off, fitting sizes. The transmission is easy, 1/4" NPT. Those adapters are everywhere. The radiator is a flare fitting, a #5, 5/16" line. The fitting itself has 1/2"-20 threads.

So. Seeing as how I couldn't find a 1/2"-20 reverse flare to -6AN adapter, I had to make one

Step one:

1 x 1/8" NPT to -6 AN fitting
1 x 1/2"-20 reverse flare to 1/8" NPT

Step two:

Cut the NPT fitting off the -6 AN adapter, drill and tap to 1/8" NPT female. Thread in the other fitting, and voila.

And if they weren't sticking out where everyone could see them, the cheap way would work best.
