Turbo or supercharged 5.3?

Turbo or supercharged 5.3? I've been building my 5.3 for a couple of months now. Originally I was going to stroke it to 5.7, but have decided that I like the idea of boosting it much more. While I don't want this to turn into a debate between turbos and SC, I was just curious as to people's opinions for my specific application. If I were to go SC, I'm thinking Whipple or MagnaCharger not centrifugal. It's going into an 88 T/A which will serve as a mostly DD except for exceptionally snowy or rainy days.

You don`t need to stroke a 5.3 to make it a 5.7. The stroke is the same, you just need to bore the 5.3L and put 5.7 pistons in it. I vote for the turbo, more work and expense, but more opportunity to make power

Cool G-body. You're right, I mistyped, the stroke on the 5.3 is the same. As far as turbo prices are concerned, it seems that the turbo plus piping will run me around 4500. A Whipple is around the same price as that and the MagnaCharger is about 5,000. Even with the IC added to the price of the turbo system, it seems that they should cost approximately the same. Am I wrong here?

We're doing a TT 6.0 L now and as mentioned above from everything i have read it seems turbos make more power than anything else BUT...
My tuner has an F1R bolt on supercharger that put 885 rwhp down on stock cube 346 LS1 A4 and he just tuned a 6.0 L DISC that hit 785. Pretty sick numbers with a VERY reasonable cost and dick all fabrication ( comparitively speaking with respect to turbos )
