Default Turning the fuel rail??

I have an LS2 going into a 68 Camaro, the fuel rail inlet is on the driver side, and my hard line on my car is on the passenger side. So I was looking at the motor and it seems I could just unbolt the fuel rail and turn it 180* then the inlet would been on the passenger side. Is this possible?

Wow, this question has popped up a lot lately! Lots of people have done it, with no problems whatsoever. The system has no idea it happened.

I have done it, no problem. Manifold can even be swapped around to have a rear facing T/B...

The covers wouldnt fit unless.... I then swap the valve covers so that the oil filler is on the opposite side as the fuel rail inlet. Then the covers could just swap sides. So next question is can the valve covers be swapped to the opposite side?

Yes. yes and yes... you can even swap heads and the only thing you would have to do is move the water temp sensor.

You can try and fab or mod the coil cover. There is someone other that sells aftermarket coil cover. maybe you can search and fnd him to handle the fuel rail swap (both the fuel inlet and the oil filler next on the passenger side.

You can also modify your fuel rail to have the inlet come out the front, rear or anywhere. Just have your local Hose and Tubing shop cut (cap if needed) and braze a new tube for inlet where you want it.

Just be creative. everything will work if you just figure it out... that is what Hod Rodding is all about!
