I like what you did with the race pack. Something to think about. If you have polarized glasses, you need to power up both the race pack and GPS and make sure you are able to see the display. I have issues with the displays on my boat unless they are nearly perpendicular to my sunglass lens. The bezel on the Race pack looks good but I'd suggest checking.
Looks great!!!! Waiting for the videos!!!

Amazing craftsmanship! Absolutely stunning...
So when are you planning on getting this thing out on the rocks?
Also, just curious...but was CRAWL the magazine that covered the Shamrock Run at Morris Mountain this past year? I was out there in my XJ and I could have sworn I saw some CRAWL guys taking pictures when Tim Cameron climbed that ridiculous hill after 20 minutes or so of going at it.

OK here are a few pics Pete got to me of more dash work with the seats set in place.
Overhead view
Drivers side
Passenger side
I'm talking to Pete tomorrow about continuing the panel on the side of where the heater controls are, all the way to the floor. Looks unfinished to me.
Going to talk to him about a mounting system for the GPS that will allow it to swivel so I can see it better while Im driving if I dont have a passenger and possibly move it over towards the race pack and make room for a 'glove box' on the right of it.
Looking at having a compartment built for my ipod to the right of the steering wheel in the dash as well. Something that will be lined with foam and be able to close up and hold the ipod in it, with a plug coming out of it as well.

It was torn down a couple weeks ago, attempting to get some paint on it for the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, UT.
Paint didnt happen, but it was still there on display for people to check out at the Vendor's show
Brake & clutch pedals welded together.

Pete and the boys got it back together, and although not painted, running, and with no brakes, it's here and going to be on display Solid Axle booth at the vendors show.

Here it is sitting in the Solid Axle booth at the Vendors show.
It drew a big crowd all day long and there were only a few people that said anything about it being not done. Everyone loved it and just wanted to see it done and wheeling...or at least hear the motor!
It's back in CO again, and getting the last of the fab work done. I'm having them switch out the hydro assist for full hydro, move the Atlas shifters and Art Carr trans shifter, and do a few other changes.
Hopefully it'll be up and running, and ready to test within a month or so, then it's tear down and off to paint.

Looks sweet Brandon! I REALLY need some Solid HP60's for my rig, wonder who could put in a good word for me
I'm using that same cell in mine as well. I still need to perm mount it. Probably mount it half into the tub floor and tie into the frame w/ a box.
Tested out my own H/C 5.3L TJ swap this past weekend. Managed to do the following:

Long time no update.
Getting close to having all the fab work done, and into the paint shop.
Then back for final assembly.
Heard the motor start up yesterday...oh damn those LT open headers sounded mean!
Here's a few update pics...
Rear fender ideas.
The rears just didnt flow to me, so we're going back to the drawing board, and probably use tube like the fronts.

Moving along...
Steering starting. New 2.5" single ended full hydro ram, PSC.
Staring to get wired and all the engine acc. put on.
New center console. Atlas shifters up between the down bars now, and Art Carr shifter moved forward.

Going to be powering everything up with two Yellow top Optima's. If you want some killer reliable power supplies, get an Optima, or 2!

Cool ride. Will be good to see another conversion running around here in Colorado Springs.Did Tanner do the tune on the motor or did you have to send the ECU out?I could not find anyone in the area willing to tune my Chevelle LQ4.Ended up doing it myself.
LS engine=Finally a Jeep with no leaks!

The motor was built by Ken over at Lee's Machine here in the Springs. As for the tune...well we had a custom Howell computer built for it, and all we've done so far it plug it in and start it a few times. All the stock wiring and computer stuff has been yanked and tossed out.
So no tune as of yet.
We'll get it over to one of the hot rod shops, or someone that REALLY knows LS motors. I know of a few people in the Denver area that'll do it if I need it.
I like the LS=no more leaks! Although my 4.0L only had 43k on it and purred like a kitten, and didnt leak a bit!
