Default 9.96 at 139.5 on the LS1 Stang!!

Tonight was the night , it took me 4 passes to get it right , I tried a harlan 2 step with the NOS and it proved to me to much of a shot on the wood. A 200 shot wont dead hook , Imagine that !!!

Anyway with a 4k launch and getting the car in the groove got me the time.
This was on slick that are about junk and humidity like crazy . I feel it has a 9.80 in it but I was quickly told to slow it down since I dont have my 9 sec license and the car does not have a certified roll cage for these times.

It is now for sale. First 13k takes it , FIRM on price.

the video is 13 seconds long so i'm not sure that counts for a 9.96 pass. j/k. nice job rowing there.

that's a nice setup for $13K! the car probably has sooo much more in it than that with better air and an auto, and a good hook on the 200 shot!

as for weight, i'm surprised it's that much, though i don't know what you weight of course. that car should be able to get down to at least a 2900 lb race weight including a moly 10-12pt if someone takes the time. i bet that car could turn 9.5's???

good luck on the sale!

I weigh in at 194 ... I figure new slicks(these are very old) and 3.73 gears it will run a 9.7 or so . I will keep you all updated . I plan to pursue the limits of this set up . The 4.10's hit the tires way to hard and I cross the stripe in 4th just hitting the rev limiter at about 7k

I am going to start to aqquire my license since my Turbo Z is about done and will need it for that anyway .
I need to update the cage also to a 10 point and get it certified.

i thought you wanted to cross the stripe in 4th at about the rev limit, unless that's above your powerband. i don't know what cam you've got in it or where the motor makes power and i'm sure you do. i'm sure i'll have problems too when i take it to the track with 4.56's and 27" DR's through a stick. i'm considering eventually going auto som i'm not gonna change the gears yet til i know what i'm ultimately going to do with the car.

can't wait to see how far you can go with it!
