Extreem LS1 project

So heres the deal. Just did my first swap in a 69 camaro. Now im wanting to do another one. I found a 2000 S10 extreem that is a single cab step side (4.3L with a 5speed). Think an LS1 T56 combo would be fairly easy to swap in?? i think this is going to be fun. If i do get the truck and go ahead with the swap im planning on doing a write up on it with lots of pictures and hopefully a few videos! my only question is.........Is this a stupid idea or should I go for it? this is the truck im considering buying

Far as I'm concerned I have yet to hear of a stupid LS1 swap. They all turn out great.

I can't wait til our G35 is paid off, that thing is going under the knife and getting an LS motor!

Go for it. That would be a fun ride. One of my kids had an S10 with the ZQ8 package and the handling really surprised me. That Extreem would be a blast.
