Default Electric fan choices

I presently have a 16 inch SPAL curved blade puller fan. Its a bit on noisy side. Has anyone tried the Flex-a-lite Black Magic curved blades? They claim they're the quietest.

I had a Black Magic on my ranger....worked ok for a while...but not the best in my opinion. It was still noisy. any electric fan with curved blades will be. But the Black Magic died in like a year...switched to the SPAL and its been there for about 4 years no problems.

I have dual SPAL fans, not bad on the noise on low speed, a bit on the noise side when they are both on High speed, but the engine sound keep it in check and I don't notice to much.

I have a dual fan DC Control setup (#33212) that is quiet. Even on max fan (summer in Las Vegas), they are not obtrusive. In the car, I can't hear them (1987 Mercedes 560SEL) and outside it's not loud at all.

im not sure how big of a radiator you have, but on my 69 chevelle swap, i used a fan from an lt1 camaro, the ls1 camaro fans are basically the same. it fit my chevelle radiator like a glove. and it's pretty quiet.. i heard it pulls something like 3300 cfm, but im not sure on that.

For the price, the lt1 or ls1 fans are really good. I have purchased 2 sets for around $100 each. They are also very easy to install. I don't think they are noisy. The built in shroud should also help cool more than an exposed fan.

The 62 vette radiator will only accomodate a single fan. Thanks for everyones response. Sounds like I'll stick w/ the SPAL.
