My Swaps track times
I took my 72 Camaro with LS1 and 4L60E to the track this weekend. Had to see what this new engine and tranny could do for me.
My mods are:
-TCI shift kit
-TCI 3500 SSF convertor
-1 5/8" headers (not equal length by any means, just made them out of my old SBC headers)
-true duals 2.5" with flowmasters dumps before the axle
-3.73 gears
-275-50-15 Nitto DR's
The only mods that were done was stuff just to get the enigne into the car except for the convertor and shift kit(i.e. headers, intake piping. etc.)
netted a best of 1.7 60 ft times
and a best e.t. of 12.57 @ 106 mph
Next on my list is going to be to try to get a set of Mac headers to see if they will fit or not, and then a cam.
Definately worth the time and money it took to do the swap. I know I had a smile on my face

Re: My Swaps track times
Yeah thats gonna be amongst the next things I buy too, Autotap and maybe LS1edit. I think the 1 5/8" headers might be burting it a little bit too.
