ls1/t56 swap. which gauges?

I want to run the 3 1/2" speedo and tach in the carbon fiber. which gauges do i need? I tried the search but it is a little off right now.

I ran autometer ultralites. Electric speedo, tach, volt,fuel level, and ran mechanical temp and oil pressure.

I'd also like to know what all is needed to hook up a Autometer speedo to a T56 or MN12. Do you need to get the autometer 5291 sending unit or can you use the VSS signal? Does the tranny even have a VSS?

I run my Autometer speedo off the PCM output, and use HPTuner to adjust the PCM for tire size changes. I calibrated the Autometer speedo to exactly 8000 pulses for the 2 mile calibration drive (last couple hundred around a parking lot). The GM PCM puts out 4000 pulses per mile.

Cam72aro, did you have 2 wires on the back of your speedo gauge? I am trying to hook up some from TPI and i have 2 wires coming out from the gauge that say pulse generator, one white and one black. My thinking is that i connect it to the white wire and ground the black.
