69 camaro disc brake conversion HELP!?!
There is a way to modify the drum brake spindles. You need to cut the top boss where the anchor bolt threads into .60. Get a shorter new bolt and your done. I did this on my 69 Firebird. If you aren't comfortable cutting the spindles just buy new ones.

Or, use 1998-2002 Z28 12" rotor and aluminum calipers. Cut the same boss down and buy the conversion brackets off eBay. Better brakes, easier, cheaper. I did the fronts for $150.00.
and i looked on ebay, but wasnt sure what to put in for a search for the conversion brackets-all it did was refer to kits-thanks

page down about 1/4th the way read about the 12" LS1 Camaro brakes. Rich Hoag I think is his name. The brackets are $60.00 a pair. The discs and calipers cost me 101.00 shipped to my house on an eBay auction.
The calipers to look for is the PBR, they was on the C4 Vette too.
