finally fitted my Ls1 and porsche G50 gearbox combo to my kit car this weekend. :-)
snug fit but fingers crossed its a major step completed in the build. car will run Carb manifold conversion with msd timing kit.
dry sump conversion fitted, oil coolers and lines to hook up yet though.
overall weight should be around 930kg max :-)

Good man!!! - is that a GD70? - I nearly went for one of those, but as I live in Hong Kong, where it is stinking hot, I went for an Ultima GTR + Magnacharged LS2.... GD70's are much nicer than the Ultima Canam IMO

yes its a Gardner Douglas T70, website link is http://www.gdcars.com/gdt70/gdt70_index.htm

I've not gone for the windscreen as i prefer the original look with the aero bubble but you can always add a screen later if you wish.

the GD demo car is around 480bhp and is devastatingly quick, as you'd expect with a weight of 2000lb , mine may not be as powerful as its only a smallish cam and a carb conversion but i'm hoping for 420bhp or so @ flywheel.

GD have just completed a customer car with 640bhp approx on a dry sumped LS7 ,on Kinsler throttle bodies, which i've been out on track in. thats VERY VERY quick :-)

next step on mine is to fit twin oil coolers, pipework, remote oil stat and filter, dry sump tank and then manifold and carb.
