Where to get trashed LS1 for fabricating?

"You can also use a block and heads from a truck motor, 4.8, 5.3 or 6.0. They all have the same dimensions, bolt holes, and the parts are all interchangeable with the LS1. Only difference is the block is iron instead of aluminum. Used 4.8's, are EASY to come by nobody wants them."

Found my cracked ls1 block on craigslist for 50.00. If you can find a cracked aluminum block cheap it's worth that much as scrap afterward.

You say your in Michigan, i have a few dead ones here. I would take $50 if you came and got it. Im in Columbia City, around ft wayne IN.
