It has been done. And we are doing it as well, you just have to make your own motor mounts. We are just using the stock f-body mounts with a [ shaped bracket with a bolt welded to it.

Yep, I allready have 5.0 k-member (not yet installed though) and I like the idea that if I will get bored with my fairmont I can sell it as a roller and then it's ready for ordinary windsor.
By the way, do you put your engines just on the centerline of the car or does it go to right?

I wouldnt use a 4.6l k-member because it moves the front wheels in the wheel wells slightly.
I just used a 5.0l style tubular k' and built my own mounts using some 4.6 solid mounts.

Pretty sure only the QA1 k member moves the wheels forward guys. Done several modular swaps into foxbodies and dont recall any of them having changed geometry unless it's due to the spindles or a arms used..... that or the QA1 K member.

I'm using a 99 mustang GT kmember.
You have to slot the rear mounting bolts about 1/2inch more to get the kmember to fit but it bolts right on after that.
I have to weld my 4.6 mounts then it will go in sometime this week.
BTW: I found a guy that makes the t56 tranny crossmembers. He has made two of them alreadt for foxes with terminator swaps/t56 trannies.

Are you referring to the Qa1 modular mounts rather than the Qa1 LS mounts. I am having a hard time getting the clam shell type mounts to work like Qa1 says to use. I can not get both mounts lined up. If I get one bolt in then the other mount is way off. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
