Air Conditioner Compressor question

Air Conditioner Compressor question I am putting a 2004 GTO LS1 in my 39 Chevy. It has the lower air conditioner mount. The outlets are very close the the frame, even with a notch. Does any compressor use a rear exit for hoses?
I am installing a 5.3 into my 1947 chevy coupe and I kept my engine as high as possible to keep all of the factory brackets. I did have to notch the frame. here is a link to some photos.

The F-Body A/C compressors had rear exit manifold.. I have and extra compressor if your interested ? No mount. Not sure about others (Vettes, trucks).
There are at lease two different mounts, but I don't think they are the costly.
Also, many of the A/C parts vendors have different manifold of different configuration, I have see one that the two tubes bend 90 deg but will rotate 360 deg as needed.

I used a factory 1998 Camaro compressor and used one of Doc's Blocks to hook up the lines at the rear of the compressor. It wasn't easy because my frame clearance isn't much different than a Chevy. My low side line comes off the back of the compressor around the back side of my 1997 Corvette engine mount bracket, then angles toward the rear hugging the block and at the starter makes a turn up & out to the evaporator. The high side line was easy.

I still do not have the engine in its final position. I used purchased motor mounts and I think the engine is too far forward. I also have to cut a hole for the shifter to get the engine in its final position. Once that is done I will know more about how the compressor will fit. Thanks for the help!
