clutch connector
clutch connector im swapping a t56 into a project car. i need to find a source for a gm type snap connector to the hydraulic clutch tob
i could cut the end off a stock one and attac it to another length of hydraulic hose,but want to see if i can find a source of a part
any suggestions??

What I used was a Russell part # 640281 fitting that I bought from Summit.They come in a pack of 2 so you can use one on both the SC and the MS end of the line. I also used a -3 an Earl's Teflon lined brake line. I think the total was about $35-$38 to go this route.
Theres many ways to skin this cat.
1. Use the fitting below.

2. Mcleod sells a ss line with the fitting on one end. These are usually on back order.See pic below.

3.Buy a used master cylinder, take it to a hydraulic shop and have them crimp the fitting to the hose you want.(cheap and actually works)

Do a search in the manual transmission section. I remember reading that someone took off that snap-in fitting and replaced it with an AN type fitting that they had crimped to the hose.
