LS1 Camaro headers for an A-body swap?

LS1 Camaro headers for an A-body swap? I've searched old posts, but can't find an answer... It looks like '98-'02 Camaro LS1 headers might fit into an A-body swap. I'm doing a '68 Olds 442 and need to find headers soon. Has anyone done this? Does anyone have pics of an install?

I am looking for someone in my area that is selling some LT's for the 4th Gen F-body to try them on my 71 Chevelle.
You can always look at the Hooker LS1 swap headers for the A-body! #228901HKR (Ceramic coated) or 2289HKR (Painted)
If not most F-Body Shorties and Mid headers will fit.
S&P also makes a mid Header for swaps.

Hey sjandras, where are you located? I'm in minneapols. I'm doing a LS1/4L60 swap into a '68 cutlass convert.
Please post your results. Also note what motor position / motor mount set-up you are using.

I'm in SE Michigan. The car is an original 442 hardtop that I bought with no drivetrain. I have the LS7 and GTO T56 set in it right now, but I'm still in the process of making adaptor plates to mount it permanently to Chevelle type engine mounts. I'm setting it very far back and low thanks to the LS7 pan. I only have about .75" clearance to firewall on the pass side.

LS1 ebay headers in A-body I actually bought some of the $200 stainless camaro headers off ebay and made them work. There were numerous interference issues that required some tubes to be moved, but they were very very close to begin with. These headers are also of surprisingly high quality, I couldn't believe how good they looked when I opened the box! If you're good with a TIG welder (or have know someone who is), I'd recommend them!
