Hello, I am building a 1974 GTO with a LS1 and have the opportunity to put a gauage cluster from a 04 GTO in the car. Other than the physical fabrication to the dash, what other pieces from the 04' will I need to make the swap as painless as possible?

I have a prototype Bosch Interface Module for my Catera V8 but wasn't sure what it did since I did not have any wiring diagrams for it.
I suspected something like this when I saw that the Australian cars had this interface module.

I don't know if that is all that it does, but I know that is 1 of the functions it does. I do not have hemls manuals for the 2004, but I Will look at my 2006 gto helms manual, and see what else it does.
Australia, did not have to get on the OBD2 until much recently, and their vehicles, where we were forced in 1996 to get OBD2 compliance.
