If you end up doing track events on R compounds, think about an Accusump. We got by for 3 years with just an extra quart of oil before it finally caught up to us... if we had added the Accusump earlier we'd still be on that same junkyard 5.7L LS1. Although I don't mind the upgraded horsepower from the new motor. :] We're just not keen on losing this powerplant anytime soon.

Thank you again for the tip. I will be looking for a suitable mounting location in the engine bay as I progress. My Accu-Sump appears to be approx the same size as yours, (just not anodized). Finding space for it in the engine bay may be a bit tough especially with keeping the OE amenities, A/C, P/S, ABS, etc.

what essentially does your kit do to provide clearance for the oil pan?? motor mounts? steering rack drop bracket? dimensions please?
