Adding circuits to the fuse box??
I am going to be adding a few electronic devices to my truck and really don't want to run a bunch of wires off the battery to relays. I can just imagine a wiring jungle under the hood.
I've noticed that there are spots in the fuse box that aren't used. How could I go about using these empty spots to wire up aftermarket devices?
If you've looked at the bottom of the fuse block it has big "blocks" that wires run into. These blocks have a single bolt through them that I assume holds them in place. Can I just take that bolt out and figure out where I need to put my power wires? What type of connectors would I need to terminate the wires? Anybody have a diagram or anything of how to wire a new circuit into the fuse block?
Are there any aftermarket fuse blocks with say 3-5 circuits and relays where I could just run one big power feed into and a control wire for the relay?(ignition on, hot, accessory, etc.)
I figure if anyone would know it would be you DIY guys in here.

Thanks for any help.

One canidate i found, was in my old 1992 bonneville, there was a litte fuse box/ relay pack under the passenger side of the dash, like 8 fuses, and 1-4 relays in it. Im sure the part from a GM dealer would be expensive, but finding it in a junkyard, might not be so bad.
I tried searching my TA and i only have one spot that is not used
I will be adding a fuse in there, for some add ons, but when i did the same thing on a friends stang, (V6, stripper version) he had about 8 fuses empty..... guess thats the one bad thing about buying a fully optioned vehicle... Ryan.
