I'll start to put it in as soon as I get all the parts I need to get things going.. right now I'm waiting on a few small things that should be getting in sometime reasonably soon, once I get the motor fabbed in, things will really start to move since I'll be able to order driveshafts and wire it up while I wait... speaking of which.. it looks like I'm going to end up just having someone redo my harness any suggestions on the best/cheapest place to go to have them do it? and my computer?

anyone know what this thing is for? its on my 4x4 tranny that I'm going to be using, but isn't on the 2wd tranny that came with the motor, and there isn't anything from the motor harness that would connect to it.... it's right next to the gear shifter and there isn't any provision for it in the motor harness, so I'm ASSUMING that it's the peice that would tell your interior dash lights what gear you are in? I don't know...

the one I'm going to use, is a 2000.. already talked to advance adapters.. bassicly they are saying that I'll use the flex plate from the new motor, and then just do a trial and error to see if there is any difference in the tourqe converters, and use whichever one works bassicly..

I am, but the guy listed it as an 04 motor, with a spare ls6 intake.. now come to find out it's an 01 or 02 motor and an ls1 intake... any ideas what I should ask back from the guy? since he lied in his listing?

Definitely an LS1 intake unfortunately.. Huge difference in value from an LS6. I have a couple that aren't even worth putting on ebay. I'd bitch slap him..
