Default Getting a longblock for a swap. What else is needed?

So as an LS1 n00b who is checking out the motors for sale, I'm noticing that lots of great-looking motors come 'long-block only'.

From my understanding, a long-block includes basically all motor internals in the block and head. (Are oil-pans included?)

If I pick one of these up, what else am I going to need to get from a donor car for a swap.

There is the obvious stuff (accessories, etc), but I don't want to miss anything subtle, so help me make a list. I'll start it. Post stuff up and I'll edit the first post to include it.

-Intake Manifold (what is included when people sell these? throttle body? intake? HFM? or is it just the manifold itself?)
-Coils
-Fuel Rail
-Fuel Injectors
-Spark Plugs
-Alternator (and hardware)
-Power Steering Pump (and hardware)
-A/C compressor (and hardware)
-Water Pump
-Thermostat
-Exhaust manifold
-ECU/PCM (is there a difference)
-Wiring harness
-Fuse box
-Oxygen sensors
-Radiator
-Cooling Fan

It will be easier and cheaper to buy a complete motor w/ accessories and harness/pcm.

For your first swap, I would highly reccomend you get a complete pull out. You can always rebuild/replace compnents after you have things running, but that is the best way to minimize confusion, and to get everything you need. Get that known good engine up and running, then go ahead and build something wild.

x3, complete is the only way to go if you are a noob. theres alot of small stuff you dont realize is there. Spent the money up front, you will spend it later anyways and then some on a long block only.
