So anyone on here put an LSX motor into a 94-96 Impala SS??
I've always herd you can get better performance outta the LT1 with less money. But i love the LS1. Better Gas mileage, lighter, more power in the stock form, DIS.
whats not to love?
So anyone on here done it? or know where i can get info about it?

There are two very good threads on the impala ss forum. One has a LS2 and the other has a LQ4. Sell your Impala and buy a 9C1 L99 caprice. You can probably pay for the swap with the money made from the sale. You're going to want to change alot of parts for the swap anyway. I own a 94 9C1 caprice and a 96 Impala SS and most aren't able to tell that the caprice isn't an Impala. Depending on the mileage you can sell the impala for $8-10K and buy a similar mileage caprice for $2-3K.

On http://www.impalassforum.com/vBulletin there are swaps with LS1, LS2 (with blower), LQ4, LS6 (going in), and another LQ4 (going in).
It's definately a hot topic right now.
