ls1 t56 xtreme 2002
My vehicle is: 2002 S-10 Xtreme (was 4.3 A4) currently powered by crate LS1 (2003) to a T-56 from a 02 F-body. The swap was done by the guys down at New Age Hotrods. They did a awesome job, especially with the fabricated parts like the headers, mounts, cooling set up, and intake.
Other Goodies:
Custom 10 bolt rear end. Reinforced 4wd housing, Zexel HD diff, GM 3.42 gears, Moser Axles, T/A Girdle, & rear disc brake conversion.
Custom Length 1 piece drive shaft.
Cal Tracs in the rear w/ HD bilstein shocks in all 4 corners.
SS style hood, cal view mirrors, billet grille, roll pan, clear corners, carbon fiber tail lights, chrome bow tie (all other emblems removed), and a ARE cover.
Stock Wheels W/ BF drag radials
18" C6 Z06 wheels with BF KDWII rubber 225/45/18 (frt) & 275/40/18 (rr)

That is a nice truck though! They did do a great job with it. Seems to be really clean and reliably built. Welcome to the boards and have fun surprising people with that puppy!

The overflow was made by a friend of mine who runs a machine shop, I just had it polished. I actually went back to the stock over flow recently when I removed the A/C stuff. It also has a red top in it now along with a smaller heater box. After I removed the A/C compresor I put in a stock tensioner.
My buddy at the machine shop also cut down the maf for me and made the filter plates.... you cant see it but it says New Age Hotrods on the front of it, like the s&p ones say LS1... I used a k&n filter...

ls1 & t56 (free for me!) 16k miles would cost someone around $4500
drive shaft lenghten/shorten ($75)
headers $350
exhaust $400
fuel system $300 (depends on setup)
wiring (can cost up to $1000)
accessory drive from a vette ($900)
all your misc parts/labor $1000
it adds up really fast, but i think in the end i will rememebr why i start this thing anyways!
