Default 00 LS1,harness etc into a 99+ V6,can you???

Yah Long title,but...

I am throwing some ideas around in my head.

Now...I have a engine,trans,k-member,harness,pcm,etc from an 00 Z28

NOW...If i find a 99-00 V6 car would I need to change the complete wire harness? Or just the engine and pcm?

Will the harness to the rest of the car be ok? And Yes i know about the return lines on the Fuel rail, and I will swap out the Z28 pump into the v6 tank..Also will a Z28 Gauge Cluter just plug in?

Thanks Guys,

I found a killer deal and if I get the answers I need,I may be able to do this on the cheap....super cheap..

BTW,I have the comlete 00 car if there is anything else i need

Inside is fine as long as you have the traction control codes deleted from the pcm if the donor car has tcs.

OK...so all I need to worry about is the under hood harness?

I won't really run into any wiring problems as long as I use my LS1 enegine hanress aND pcm?

also the donor car MAy be a T5 V6...so will the be a problem..(the ls1 is a 4l60e combo)

If the original car is not an auto you may have to chase a few wires. Do you have access to the complete original car that the motor is coming out of. If so and it was me I would just swap the complete interior harness out of the original car to save time and frustration. If you do not have access to the original car the PN wires for the auto can be added in without much trouble.
