ls1 t56 behind bbc??
I have a built ls1 t56 I took out of my trans am and I am puttin it in a 70 Nova behind a 427. I would have got an lt1 t56 but I already own the built ls1 t56
I want to use factory 4 speed linkage and clutch fork. I have the 4 speed bellhousing and I bought the Mcloed adapter.

questions after searching I didn't find clear answers
I know I have to use my ls1 t56 clutch disc.
What flywheel do I use?
bbc flywheel
ls1 flywheel
conversion flywheel? (came up in a search I found but wasn't too clear)
And with whatever flywheel I need to use. Can I use my ls1 t56 pressure plate.

P.S. You can get iron flywheels from the GM dealership still. The aftermarket flywheels will be billet steel or aluminum, which is better, but more expensive.
Look at aftermarket SBC/BBC vs LS1 clutch parts numbers. They're the same.
Just use your BBC flywheel, BBC clutch plate, and make sure you get it with a 26 spline disk. Some older trannys were 10 spline.
BTW, is a pilot bushing adapter needed with that engine/trans combination?
