Default SS wheels on a 2wd S10

What size adapters do I need?
I was not sure if this belonged here or in the wheels section.

Bolt pattern is the same but you might need spacers. I know third gen wheels bolt right on but third gens need 2 inch spacers to run 4th gen wheels.

Ok, I know a 4th gen F body wheel will fit a 4WD S10/Sonoma without a spacer. I want to know exactly what size spacer I need to make them fit properly on my 2WD 94 S10 beater truck. I have a set of 17x9 10 Spoke SS wheels for it.

You should probably go over to this forum:

http://www.s10forum.com/forum/wheels-tires-and-brakes/

These guys have installed just about every combo of wheels/tires on trucks...stock, raised and lowered.

I posted over there. I just don't care for that forum. I get tired of them calling and S10 a "dime".

should be 2" spacers... i know those wheels fit correctly on 4WD S10's(which are 58" wide (i think)... and the 2wd rears are 54.5" wide, so 4" divided by two= 2"

you should be able to use anywhere from 1.5" to 2.5" thats why i would go with 2"... right in the middle

I believe that this one used 2" spacers front and rear:

A guy on the "dime" board said he had them on his truck and he ran a 2.25" spacer. I also emailed the v8s10 guy.

2.25 spacers up front, they will rub inner wells doing a U-turn.the rear has an 8.5" rear from a mid 70s camaro.an 8.8 will work also if you change to gm bolt pattern..

If you use a 4WD S10 Rear Axle, it's the correct width to run those wheels without spacers. (not the ZR2 Axle, it's too wide)

Yeah, you can pick up a used 4x4 posi rear for the price of two spacers if you dont already have a posi.

i spent 65.00 for the aluminum adapters NEW shipped off e-bay.
the 2.25 up front keeps the tire in the fenderwell!the 2.5 will let the sidewall poke out some, the rear can handle the 2.5 adapter with ease......

You don't just get any type spacer but a machined adapter if going over a 1/2" for sure. The best bolt pattern to go to is the 5x4-3/4" then all the knock off Vette wheels in almost any size width for cheap. I am using these guys to make a adapter to put Z06 18x10" on my 6 lug SSTB. Do it right.

Grave digging. Need some help. Can anyone tell me what wheel spacers i will need for my 02 s10 2wd base model, stock height, in order to put the american racing torq thrust i got off my brothers 00 trans am. The wheels are 17x9 with 45 offset and the tires are 245/45/17. The fronts dont fit, didnt try the rear, but the front the hub didnt fit inside the wheel. So i cam tell i need some kind of spacers
