misc harness info i've put together.... attached are some excel docs i've put together over some time...
PCM Differences.zip is a side by side PCM Pinout compairson of 2001 f-body, 1999 vortec truck & 2004 vortec truck. Highlighted in BOLD in the 99 vortec column are pins I remove from the 99-02 vortec truck harness for standalone setups.
Connector map vortec truck.zip Shows all connectors for standalone harness for 99-02. Each connector needed to run engine/trans is listed, with cavity #/letter of each connector, wire color, wire size, location in PCM connector it goes to, and description.
Mass Air Flow Sensors.zip is info I compiled on different sensors found in different vehicles. I listed typical applications, as well as how they are calibrated at certain frequencies.
Use this info however you feel, all info is from my own research in gm shop manuals and opening calibrations. There could be errors so double check..

found some other info I might add....
pictures of the connectors about 1" away from PCM on the vortec truck harnesses, C100, C152, C153, ...the excel file is the pinout and had highlighted what is used in a stand alone. Everything else can come out.
This pinot in particular is from a 2001 5.3 Truck...other years may be similar or may be the same...check wire color...pin location in pcm..etc...
again, use info as you like, double check if possible...

I've put together a bigger excel file that covers these connectors over all years of the Chevy Silverado 99 to 2006
open : C2 Underhood, c100, c152, c153.xls.zip

All the grounds needed will be in the engine harness. Should be 3 of them.
Rear of engine behind intake, should be two grounds. G103 & G104
Drivers side, below manifold is a ground. G102
DOUBLE CHECK THESE, THEY CHANGE YEAR TO YEAR...THIS IS FROM 2000 VORTEC TRUCK...PINK WIRES ARE ALWAYS 12V+ KEY POWER ON THIS CONNECTOR..JUST CHECK WHERE THEY RUN TO.
