Default 1970 camaro fuel tank options

ive got a 70 camaro with an ls1 that i am currently using a cell with an a1000 pump, bypass reg. etc. i would like to switch back to the factory tank without spending big bucks on a rick hr tank. Anybody have any ideas or have done something similar? thanks

1st option would be to spend a lot of $$$ with a Rick's or Rock Valley tank and pump setup.. but it sounds like plan B is your direction...what about the TanksINC setup ?

Other options is to use a weld on Sump to the bottom of the stock tank and continue to use your A1000 Pump...

I am sure your going to get a few more options... maybe someone will suggest a tank of of some later model car..

You could also use a factory replacement tank and then modify the top so that you could put the fuel pump/sending unit from a 99-02 f-body, 99+ LSx equipped truck/suv or even some of the mid 90`s caddys. They all used a fuel sending unit that had a venturi system and fuel bucket to keep the pump submerged that way you don`t have to have baffles.
