the cast blocks arnt that heavy. Hell if its going to be boosted what does it matter? Not like the car is going to weight 3500 pounds anyway.
Hope you all takeyour time and do this one clean. The Civette was cool but I didn't think it was done cleanly.

i dont really have to cut this car up it is already rear wheel drive......dont worry i think everyone will be impressed with this when it is done and the 5.3 isnt gonna stay in there forever

alright guys.......i just got threw for the night the old cooling and ac system has been removed along with the cruise......damn no cruise control? i guess i need to put the factory motor back in......seats and most of the interior are out now to ....my wife will be posting more pics tomorrow

Have you test fit the headers? Custom long tubes that I've used in a set-up that small are a whole lot different in that there is no room & usually need to hug the block & end before or just beside the bell housing.

that is not my engine....that is another s2000 that is being done
...all jokes aside...i am using a top mount twin turbo kit and the turbo manifolds have not arrived yet.......waiting for them to be built but i will post a pic of the kit installed on a vette later tonight

damn that looks too wide. im not sure if its gonna sqeeze in there. our engine bays are alot narrower. strut towers will be the issue mostly. downpipe will def have to come forward before it comes down also. maybe the runners can be cut shorter to pull them in tighter?
edit: also note the height of the throttle body in relation to the turbos. the tb a 1/8" from hitting the hood on mine, yours will be further forward. it looks like those turbo's sit about the same or higher than the tb. my pan is also about is low as i would want to go. the 5.3 pan is going to have to go.
